The dare with kitchenware!

This dare can be taken as a solo project or as a collab.
You can even submit a collab piece AND a solo piece.

The basic ingredients: You, your kitchen and a recorder (optional).

You must use sounds from kitchen UTENSILS.
You must use sounds from kitchen APPLIANCES.
About half of your sounds must be raw (meaning: unprocessed) the other half must be cooked (meaning: processed).

And for a bit of spice, you must add 'something else'.
(What is something else? Well... anything that is not found in your kitchen.)
Remember not to overdo the spice!

If you record stuff yourself, please upload to Freesound.
Remember to be careful if you start playing with knives or with fire!

You don't need to make your own recordings - you can use samples from Freesound (but you will have to give credit)

Pieces need to be of a musical nature and be between 2 and 4 minutes long.
Submissions via post in this thread with a link to the piece at Soundcloud.

Deadline: 6 April, 10pm GMT.

Finally here's our collaboration Kitchen Percussion mix - created by Afleetingspeck and Snapper4298. It uses only percussion sounds recorded in the kitchen, there are no synths or other musical instruments used. Hope you enjoy and thanks for fyling by.

Dear friends

Closing the dare. Should have been last night, but I was out.

Saddly, this month was a very difficult one for me with too much work, health and personal probelms. So I close the dare without an entry from myself... (sigh)
Anyway, at least I made a good effort in the last couple of days to enter with some sounds for Dare-19.
