Sorry I am almost 24h late closing the voting and casting my own votes.
Some unnexpected events here this weekend...

My votes:

carmsie - Remember - 10 points
This track gets first place because it uses a lot of diverse samples to tell the best story of all. You don't need to read any notes or make any effort to follow the plot here. Very well done.

11linda - a planned murder - 9 points
It is unbelievable that this track was started and finished just before the deadline, using only Audacity (for most of us only a sound editor) and - I suspect, the first ever such piece that 11linda put together.
With all that, the attention to detail is amazing and the piece is really scary.

ThatJeffCarter - Under the Shadow - 8 points
As always, Jeff's pieces create strong imaginary scenes in my mind. The Grim Reaper walking list souls through the valley of shadows... Aparently very close to what Jeff himself had in mind when he created the piece. Excellent.

Bliss - The Visit - 7 points
Here is another new entrand getting high scores
I am sucked in by the musical beauty of this piece.

Escortmarius - Don't trick or treat at the haunted house - 6 points
Some classical horror sounds in this piece. Very nice!

Afleetingspeck - Reminiscence - 5 points
Who said Halloween had to be scary?
Here is a much more chilled approach. Very well achieved!

Da_Butch - Zombination - 4 points
Very well crafted zombie sounds. Could be the soudtrack from a zombie movie.
Finale is a bit random for me.

carlsonmahloan - Ryan's Spooky Track - 3 points
The audio version of an exorcism (from inside the victim's head)?

Wildbill "burnin" Vernon - 2 points
Some classic horror sounds here too. Effective. The finale is unnexpected. I liked that.

Tiam Is Tiam - That Wrecked the Party - 1 point
Simple and effective, short and to the point. But definetely scary.
