I have uploaded my version late last night but it hasnt shown up yet.
I could hear a train in jgeralyn's version and so that became my concept.

I had to adjust levels quite a bit to avoid seriously bad clipping. There still might be a bit here and there. I was sorely tempted to be mischievious and literally make it a train-wreck, but sense and good taste prevailed!
I't's so lovely to hear a beautifully recorded sound like the original frieght train sound that I felt bad applying effects to it. but that didn't stop me.. haha!

I might have missed it earlier because you have changed your avatar picture. Somehow it has changes in the main Freesound screens and the moderation screen, but not yet in the forum avatar.
When I first looked for it I was on my phone, so I might have missed your sampe from the moderation screen because of the new avatar. Sorry about that.

I request that a small exemption be made to the rules.
You state that the original layer shoud be left untouched. Effects can only be used on the new layer being added. That would mean no effects on the master bus.
I would ask this is changed to allow a limiter to be used on the master bus - the purpose being simply to avoid clipping, which coud otherwise creep up and ruin the sound quality as more layers are added.

Yes i did. But i can't attribute in the source section before it's approved by a mod, for some reason. I'll go ahead and do it now.

That is true. Don't know why, but that is the way it works (I think it always was.
You cannot set that from the start, you need to wait for the sound to be approved and then go back in and edit that section.
Its waiting to be moderated.

Took me some extra time, my computer was not working like I want to

I cleaned sample 123925 from all the subway noise and added some reverb, added some chorus on djgriffin samples.
I left some space to play for someone else and added a little something on the end.
