What is a challenge for one is easy to the other, i think. maby it is good to a great difference between one dare and the other. The base; it should be made out of freesound-sounds... That is my vision...

In a way, yes you are right. But having said that, some ideas that I have in mind would, for sure, result in more head scratching than others wink
And don't worry: all dares will be quite different eh eh eh...

Always. Freesound will always be at the centre of it.
Also, if anyone has any ideas send me a PM... smile

I want to believe.

As promised, my last review:

PianoThing2 by toiletrolltube

Apparently simple, but very effective, this piece starts with some low clanging metallic sounds.
There is a "harshness" to these sounds. A bit like rate reduction, but not quite. I think they are just samples played a few octaves lower than the original sound, so much lower (slower) that the sound starts to get grainy.
There are some smaller sounds in there too. And some odd things - like the sound at around 23s similar to dropping an egg on the floor. Then the piece develops and fills up with some drone sounds.
All of this sounds a bit unsettling, but true to Toiletrolltube's style, quite harmonious.
And like in the build-up for some horror movie scene, at around 2:15 something happens. What appear to be large standing clock chimes, a shrieking sound... and it is all gone! We are kidnapped by the ghosts of the past (or the future) and all that is left is a frozen reverb.
Very nice.
All samples comply with the rules smile

....

Comming up soon..... Dare 7 !!!

I want to believe.
