Hi I have a PC with Windows Vista and I tried to download a sound but Quicktime wouldn't allow me to do it unless I upgrade to Pro. I know this problem has been stated before but the only answers I found were for the MAC.

Any thoughts?

What should work, instead of left-clicking the download button, right-click it and select 'Save Target As...' from the menu.

It's probably because you have changed it in the player somehow.... they pinch you to upgrade to their stupid pro software if you do anything before trying to save.

You can save the file when you download it if you do not change the play speed, color settings, etc...

Your best bet is to convert it to something friendly with a free video converter, like "any video converter"... google it.
