Hi systems engineers,

When I search with the following search terms ' 71871 69375 ' ( unique location codes in my description) I get two files that do not contain this search term.

The non compatible files are;
https://freesound.org/people/systemfehler/sounds/69375/
https://freesound.org/people/cmusounddesign/sounds/71871/

I think that's a mistake.

regards

I don't use Search often enough to be worried, but does the engine have the capacity to use boolean logic operators like AND, OR, NOR and NOT?

Would be good if it did but the semantics are just hidden/undocumented.

The URL result for your search contains those numbers, separately:

https://freesound.org/people/systemfehler/sounds/69375/ <<<
https://freesound.org/people/cmusounddesign/sounds/71871/ <<<

If you only search for "71871" - Your content will come up with some other unrelated content but...

If you search for "71871 4.69375" - Your content will come up without others, as that's the complete string in your description.
