Is there any risk of getting a virus from this site or is it safe?

Hey

The risk is practically zero. It's really not possible to hide a virus in a sound, it needs to be in an executable file. The only way I can think of to hide a virus in a media file would be to have it exploit a certain vulnerability in a particular piece of software for playback using steganography, which is so unlikely it's negligible.

But in any case, if you're still worried, rest assured that if a virus was attempted to be uploaded to the site it wouldn't make it on here because it wouldn't make it past processing, it would fail that step. This is because in order for the sound to be published it needs to be an audio file of a determined format and be processed as such.
