Login authentication failed

Hi freesound,
always i am taking the master - password - but i can not log in to upload.
Whats wrong?

Hello,
yes, it happens every now and then. Whenever the server is very busy (which is not uncommon lately due to FS helper mirrors not being working lately) the authentication process often fails.
Only 'solution' I know is to try later, at moment when the server is less stressed so...please be patient.

this is why i hate ftp so much.

anyway from what i can see the ftp servers are not only lagged to hilt high water but also seem to be having password detection issues.
i have reset 1 and changed my password like 15 times now and still no help.
i even went as far as using the letter a as my password.
and yes i changed it back to my more secure password so nyah.
lol
yeah this seems serious.
wish i could help in someway but i'm not a mod nor admin or the tech that runs the servers so i'm powerless.
all i can do is talk.
wish it clears up soon.

The rest: FTP is working just fine for me, I don't know why you are having problems. If you are entirely sure, send me an email (same contact page) with your login and password so I can test for myself.
Nightingale (freesound 2) will have http uploads (as well as ftp).

Bram, can I first thank you for adopting this idea of http uploads as well as ftp. This is something I have called for a lot, and I thank you for adopting it in the upcoming freesound 2.0. Can I now ask you please to look at the other feature requests I posted in a recent post on freesound 2.0. Can you also confirm when it is you hope to have freesound 2 up and running? I look forward to it! I think you may lose the vote on email over private messaging; at last check approx 60% voted to keep private messaging. I myself was one. In the mean time, I would just like to wish you and the rest of the community a happy Christmas.
p.S, Bram, where has the online users section gone on the home page?
