Would be glad if someone could help - the play button on my sample searches seems to have disappeared from my screen. Any suggestions?

If you have javascript turned off in your browser it will do this. I see it in Firefox using noscript unless I explicitly permit it.

A possible cause though there could be others. Those would need more information. Have you added software recently? Done any upgrades? Turned on sound servers?

Thanks for that. Javascript is enabled, but I have added a lot of music software for the M Box Mini and have done the usual upgrades on my IMac software. Does this suggest any other leads?

Sorry, not to me. I'm not familiar with the Mac. Is it possible that flash was disabled? I saw something yesterday about there being an exploit in the wild (on tens of thousands of websites) for versions that aren't very recent, and maybe it was turned off until you could upgrade to a later version by your upgrades in order to protect you.

Did you mess with any configuration files?

The software upgrades could have rewritten configuration files also, blocking access for other programs.

All just speculation because I don't know your system.

The buttons have now mysteriously returned, so all is back to normal. Thanks for your suggestions though.
