My password - which works to log in to the site - is not being recognised in the ftp applet. I tried the my network places alternative option, but can't log in there either.
Hey, I had a problem similar to that but I updated my Sun Java Console and also had to lay out some new rules for this sh*t antivirus program and PC-Cillin, they kind of blocked everything under the sun, Can you not even log into the FTP applet, does it show the loading screen and everything, Are you choosing annonymous login, and on the bottom of the screen there is sort of a text log of your login information, I am sure that can help. Or maybe just change your password and then try again. P.S. I use a windows PC so if you have a MAC I'm sorry, I know nothing about those hush puppies.
Still can't get in. Have changed password, updated with new Java, but still have the same problem. The text box says welcome and processes something, but then gets after password, says '530 Login authentication failed QUIT 221-Goodbye.'
