Hey guys,

user sound delete, persistent login, working forum "unread" marks and "latest forum threads in reply form" and more features will be coming soon... Keep an eye on the blog!

Actually, persistent logins should already be working (better, but not perfect).

Yay! Thanks Bram, Freesound team. Opened my browser this morning and I was still logged in.

Yep, dunno what you did differently, but the persistent login appears to be working fine now.
I'm inspired to go out and record a bunch more sounds to upload!
Thanks bunches!

Hi Bram,

One of my favourites that did not make it to FS2 was the ability to add to a sample description and tags.
Even if you were not a mod... but especially being a mod, one thing that really annoys me is a good sample with bad tags.

Would also allow people to enter transalations of descriptions or tags when these havev not been originally posted in English.

But I know.... I was probably the only one using this feature. So I have come to terms with the fact that I won't have it anymore smile

I want to believe.

Hi Bram. Great update you've made. I specially enjoy the bookmark utility. I suspect this wil become a hit, when people get used to it.

Very nice done!

AlienXXX, yeah, there were very few people using this... Although I do think that mods should be able to do it... Hmmm.

Kyster, thx! smile

I'd love to see an option for downloaders to make a PayPal donation directly to the person who made the sound. I've had several people ask me about commercial use of my samples and I've pointed them at my downloads page http://panda-blog.org.uk/windchimes-samples/ to click an advert or two or make a donation. But it'd be great if it were just there on Freesound.
If I got the occasional pound or two coming in, I'd be uploading a lot more of my sounds and instrumental music; as it is, I'm putting new ones on the url above 'cos it's nice to earn a little money from my musical endeavours - it's about the only way I do!

Go to http://creativemedia.org.uk/windchimes-samples/ for sound effects and royalty-free music.
