Hi, I followed the instructions carefully for the Java applet and got that error message (unable to upload) when I clicked on the right arrow button. The actions only show this:

PASV
PWD

I tried FTP (Filezilla) and it won't let me log in at all.

If everything is working OK, maybe I should change my password?

...Try IE? (I use Chrome)

...My username is two words. Could the space between them be a problem?

...or?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Robert, I see user "Brenda Tomlin" managed to upload, so looks like it's not the space that's the problem.

Hi, I've quadruple checked my username and password, and tried multiple times both FTP and the applet.

I tried IE in addition to chrome.

I'm out of ideas. I've done plenty of FTP uploading, so it seems very unlikely that I'm doing something wrong every time.

Maybe you have weird characters in your password? Is all I can think of that can be a problem.

Perhaps It's the space in your username, that gives you trouble.

Thanks for the ideas, folks. Sounds like I should try things like changing my password or start a new account with different passcodes.

I really want to upload some interesting things. I have a recording of a near riot in the Gaslamp district of San Diego that is interesting because it is among tall buildings that echo, and because part of the recording has the pounding sound of the nightclubs before things got crazy. It's one of those ambient things that could be a bizarre background to rap music or something.

I'll listen for any more ideas for a while and then see what I can do.

It really sounds interesting grin

Hope you manage to find the problem.
