Similar in usefulness to HerbertBoland's popular CinematicBoomNorm.wav sample, this is a totally synthetic sound of a distant but muffled explosion. Lots of lows, perhaps inaudible on small speakers. Not quite so "ringy" or gong-like as the original Cinematic Boom, and perhaps better because of that fact. This one has some frequency shaping, especially at the very beginning (first 80 ms) to give a subtle feeling of impact, and has been reverberated for a very smooth decay. #4 is provided in both 44.1KHz 16bit as well as 48KHz 32bit, for the convenience of using whichever format you're already working in. This is the 48/32 version. Created within Cool Edit Pro.
