A totally synthetic explosion sound that could be the firing of a large gun instead of a bomb exploding. The reverberant tail is relatively long, as though the explosion occurs in a hilly area. But you can reshape the envelope to your liking, as well as adding whatever debris noise is appropriate for your application. Like the others in this series, this sound is totally synthetic, created within Cool Edit Pro (the ancestor of modern-day Adobe Audition).
