Late afternoon on 4th October 2025 the day after storm Amy hit the UK. This is in the south of the country where the winds were not as strong. The area is a residential, suburban street with an oak tree and other vegetation close by. Children can be heard playing in the distance. Temperature was mild, around 12C to 14C.
Recorded with a Zoom H5studio and the mics that come with the recorder. This was placed on a small tripod, low to the ground to shelter it from the worst of the wind. There was a windshield over the mics for added protection.
