What a poor recording done in one of the glasshouses of the "Berggarten" in Hanover / Germany, but lets see, what they say on their website::
"As early as 1700 modest glasshouses were built ...to cultivate Herrenhausen’s first exotic plants... at the end of the 18th century work began on establishing a botanic garden, classifying its exotic plants according to the system of eminent botanist Carl von Linné. A succession of influential master gardeners shaped the development of Berggarten,...they established the Berggarten orchid collection, which is still the most varied in Europe." ; )
Well more then 10 years ago, when this recording was done, they decided to have birds like zebra finches in that glasshouse. Plenty of nestbuilding and stuff like that.
They are not there anymore, but it was wonderfull ! (Except the hum of the air-conditioning)
Inside microphones of a Sony PCM-D50 recorder.
