This time I decided not to change the name of the track. This is what it is stored as a file on the computer and here is that upload : )
A windy day on that Balcony in town, where I used to stay, using them AT835ST microphone, (which is near me now),, a shure FP24 preamp and all that in May and into a Sony PCM-D50.
Somehow the sound of nature has changed, even in town.

Human settlements tend to incorporate a lot of flat and straight geometry which changes the way waves propagate through those environments. It can be a good thing once it's understood how to EQ the waveform. Highpass can help get rid of a lot of low-frequency rumble (engines, etc.) and lowpass can help tame a lot of the high frequencies which are reflecting off building facades, pavement, etc.
Some other things can't really be helped. Animals have less cover and less breeding sites in cities, so (generally speaking) only the most adaptable animals will live in them.
Anyway, as someone who lives in a forest, I think this recording is very good. A lot of people can only wish to hear this much nature in a day.

Thank you for this wonderful (and clean) recording!
Where is the balcony?
