The lake 'Bagsværd Sø' was frozen in February 2021. When the ice broke, the blocks and flakes were blown together on the edge of the lake. A very particular clicking, clinging, and ringing sound occurred.
The recordings were made by a Zoom H4 with stereo microphone and double wind screen (foam screen plus a woolen sock), still some wind noise appears. The recordings were made in night, to avoid sound from people and traffic.
The recordings have been filtered (Cubase) with a bass cut and a slight lift above 1 kHz.
