I needed the sound of two people falling into a large pile of empty cardboard boxes. This is a composite of several sounds of cardboard boxes being mangled, spindled and mashed. It was recorded with an SM58 to a PC computer with a Creative Labs Audigy sound card.

Very good! I can't tell it's a composite, and it sounds like exactly what I need for a guy falling. Great job, Freq.

Why is it stereo? Because it's a composite of several mono recordings. I used a stereo imager to put each cut at a different point to give the final mix a feeling of depth. I forgot to mention that I also used Sonic Foundry's Vegas 2 to layer and mix all the cuts.

A good idea, sounds good also.
By the way,
Why is it stereo with a single sm58 for recording?
