This is a singing bowl recorded using a contact mic while the bowl was vibrated using vibration motors, then the pitch has been dropped to smooth out the sound of the motors. This is what is heard through headphones during an art installation by Jack Offord, called "Mountains and Rivers". please see my website http://jackofford.weebly.com for more details and other projects.
