hanstimm: you are quite right, this sample is badly distorted, sorry! By the date I uploaded this I lacked expertise and, even worst, tried to filter mic noise, the result is so-so to say the least. would be nice to have this sound in .wav or .aiff. the mp3-version has some artefacts ... Anyway, nice recording !

Cool, its hard to imagine how it sounded when there was no traffic rumble in the old times, but this sound made it possible! :D
