This is a violin sound (the theme of J.S. Bach Fugue c-moll from Das Wohltemperierte Klavier) pitched from C4 (262Hz) to D5 (587Hz), processed by a set of my "hand-made" DSP algorithms in C++ (spectral analysis/resynthesis, phase vocoder).
