This crunch is egg-shell, but there is a long piece of hard ABS plastic being used, and it resonates in an odd way. You can't really hear the crackle of the egg-shell at times because it is drowned out by the resonances of the plastic. So this one is rather unusual among the sounds in this pack, and generally less useful. But you never know. Slow it down just a little bit, and the one louder burst kind of sounds like a very noisy camera shutter or film-advance motor, or something like that.
