Five Random Samples Project, Track 1
This sample pack contains samples from a track called 'Five Random Samples' (listen here: http://soundcloud.com/hisschemoller/five-random-samples ).
The track was made with five random samples downloaded from Freesound. Only those samples, a sampler and effects. No synthesizers or other sound sources. The samples were edited and arranged into a new track in Ableton Live. Afterwards I exported single sounds and loops from the track and uploaded them here for everyone to use.

I got this Freesound download / upload idea after I watched the 'Secondhand Sureshots' documentary ( http://dublab.com/secondhand/ ) by Stone's Throw Records: Producers get five dollars to buy thrift store records and sample those records for material to build new tracks. Those new tracks were then pressed on vinyl and the vinyl 'secretly' put back in the record crates at the thrift stores where the originals were bought. I liked the idea that you get something from the community, use it for what you want to do, and in the end return something for others to use.
