Mix three kinds of beats generated with program discord (http://discord.sourceforge.net/) with samples from freesound (attribution below). The resulting sample is approximately 5 minutes long and is loopable. The beats are all at 7.832 Hz, high theta. If you listen to this for several plays, you should notice a difference in your awareness. Theta awareness is the awareness of REM sleep/dreaming, so you should probably not try to get an effect from this while doing something else; it is best to just let your mind tick over on idle while listening. Haven't been for a while (quite a while!).
I'm glad to see people are able to experience the effects of this. It is really a wonderful feeling to entrain. As jmorrisoncafe33 said, this can really take you places. And jmorrisoncafe33, if you are concerned about severe effects, you are doing it exactly right - small doses to start. That being said, nothing I've seen on brainwave entrainment using sound only has noted any harmful side effects.
katorg, the effect will be diminished without headphones, so it is probably OK to use it. But theta is a little low for a presentation if you don't want to lose your audience to inner experience. You should probably think about using a high alpha, borderline beta instead (12 Hz to 20 Hz). This is the brainwave frequency for calm, alert awareness.

U think is a good idea to use this is as background for a presentation? (part of the intention of it is to get people into an altered state of consciousness, but I still want them to pay attention to what I am saying ;)
