This recording is from an intense, late summer electrical storm in Berlin. It reminded me of some of the ferocious storms I have witnessed in Victoria in Australia. Although it was very brief with virtually no wind (perfect for the recording).
In some of the samples you can hear toddlers from the day care centre below freaking out at the storm. There were a couple of thunder claps that were so loud and so close to the mic that they clipped so I did not include them. At one point the lightning was so close I stepped away from the computer and took my headphones off for fear of being zapped due to the mic sitting outside the window. Probably an overreaction though.
if you make any tunes with this sample pack hit me up on soundcloud.
Id love to hear them!
