An entire subway journey, from across the street from the Church Ave. Station in Brooklyn, into the subway station, through the turnstile, waiting on the platform, riding the train, and disembarking at Times Square/42nd St. Some wind, and some microphone handling. Recorded using a binaural headpiece with a Zoom H4 on 11 December 2010 at around 11:30am in New York, NY, USA. Light editing done in Logic.

This recording is amazing. I have honestly listened to it to it at least twenty or thirty times on loop in the last few days. The length, sample amplitude, ambient nature, and unique interjections make this an outstanding specimen for looping ambiance.

This is a wonderful recording. The pitched ringing is a really great sound. I'd love to see more of these in a type of pack.
