This sound was made on Audacity. Because there are a lot of famous song recreated with ringtone classic « beeps », I decided to have fun by recreating a normal phone ring slowly transforming into the « Bella Ciao » theme.
All I did is recreate a fake ringtone with 8 notes by generating sinusoidal waves of 493.9, 659.3 and 987.8 Hz with an amplitude of 0.2. I added a fade-in and fade-out effect on each note to make the sound softer for listening. Then, I recreated every musical notes using sinusoidal waves with an amplitude of 0.2 and different frequencies for each note.
The notes used are B (493.9 Hz and 987.8 Hz), E (659.3 Hz), F# (740 Hz), G (784 Hz), A (880 Hz) and C (1046.5 Hz).
