I used a synthetical sound that's called "brownian sound".
I first turned up and down the volume all along the sound to create the effect "come and go".
Then I used a lot of reverb and echoes to make the sound deeper. I also reduced the speed of the sound to create the magical sensation of waves sound.
I used distortion to reduce the gain and have a sound less saturated than he was.
