I tried to reproduce the sound of ocean waves crashing crashing onto a shore. I didn't use any recorded sound to make it. Firstly, I generated a pink noise. I then edited its dynamic so that the sound would fade in and out slowly. I repeated this sample 4 times, and added a small phaser effect to add variation to the sound, as well as a little reverb. I made sure that the whole sample would loop.
Behind this, I added a quiet rose noise to simulate the constant noise of the ocean.
