The first step was to create a scary atmosphere by using slowed sound, creating layers to make a depth of field.
Using the Paulstretch plugin, I slowed down a sound of plastic cone impacting the floor : this sound creating the breathing of the monster.
Then, slowed down a crowd clapping their hands: creating a constant rumor or snoring.
I’ve put reverberation on them to add some distance and pitched down to have louder sounds
Then I added sounds of snoring, pitched down (around -12 tons) slowed down, with some phaser to give some monster spirit.
The EQ help me to boost low frequencies and extenuate high ones.
Then I adjust the envelope with volume to create a brething rythme, by put more volume when the monster inhale, and less volume when he exhale.
