My grandmothers clock ticking recorded with a Tascam DR-40 in mono with a Røde NTG-4 shotgun microphone. The recording features some of the mechanical details which makes up the ticking sound of the roughly 50 cm high wall mounted clock with a pendulum and a wind up spring for storing energy.
This version of the recording has been amplified and some amount of noise reduction has been applied. Please look in my collection for the original file straight out of the recorder.
