This drone was inspired by a droning sound in my building. I measured it at roughly 300hz then created a simple sine wave tone in Cool Edit and processed it in Sonar 8. Effects used: Waves Plugins Doubler (dark fader preset), dtblkfx (frequency resizing & warpmix), GRM Comb filters, VirSyn Matrix as a send, Ozone 4 and VirSyn Reflect.
This noise occurs intermittently day and night and does my head in, but I decided to do something creative with it.
