1916 Victor Victrola VV-XI phonograph.
A switch is operated which starts the turntable rotating. As the turntable is spinning up to the correct speed, the top lid is un-latched, then the needle is placed on the record.
Mic position was in front the machine pointed towards the open horn doors.
Recorded with a Sennheiser MKH-416 into a Zoom F8 recorder.
