This is an imaginary soundtrack for a scene in which NASA's Curiosity rover explores Mars. We hear a countdown and several Curiosity devices running until it crashes and finally explodes.
The sequence of sounds has been produced and recorded live using various technologies (synthesizers, foley objects, an effects pedal, portable recorders, etc.) by a group of students during Sons de Barcelona’s “Sound Fictions” workshop at Roca Umbert, in the frame of “Mercat de Tecnologia de Granollers”.
