This is the sound of various dowel rods (of differing diameters) being moved from the right side of the stereo field to the left side. 2 pairs of microphones placed in an x/y configuration (Audix i5s and a matched pair of Rode NT5s) were used to capture the audio.
These sounds can be used to create sfx for things like sword slashes, rapid movements, pylons rushing by, etc. I have also uploaded another set of Left-to-Right wooshes (different audio sources - not just a flipped stereo field).

Very nice. Very quick whooshing sounds, just what I need. I'm only suing them for a school project, but I will let you know if it gets any bigger than that. Thanks!
