This is the sound of various dowel rods (of differing diameters) being moved from the right side of the stereo field to the left side. 2 pairs of microphones placed in an x/y configuration (Audix i5s and a matched pair of Rode NT5s) were used to capture the audio.

These sounds can be used to create sfx for things like sword slashes, rapid movements, pylons rushing by, etc. I have also uploaded another set of Left-to-Right wooshes (different audio sources - not just a flipped stereo field).

You can watch how this sound was made here: http://youtu.be/7zgm7Dl9o68

Very nice. Very quick whooshing sounds, just what I need. I'm only suing them for a school project, but I will let you know if it gets any bigger than that. Thanks!

Thanks so much, this sound came in handy for the fight scene in the 2nd episode of my web series, Amy Danzig. Check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivvv-BUnuec
