This clip is recorded on 29Nov2014 midnight in Mongkok. The Hong Kong people are fighting for a real referendum to vote for the Chief Executive. They had "occupied" the Main Roads in Central, Mongkok, Admiralty and Causeway Bay for 60 days. The "Occupy Central" movement evolved into the "Umbrella Movement" after the police threw 87 tear gas at the totally unarmed people who used umbrella to block the pepper spray from the police. The "Umbrella Movement" then evolved into the "Shopping revolution" after the government cleared the "occupied zone" in Mongkok. The protestors keep coming back to Mongkok after work(from evening to Midnight) claiming to be "Shopping". "Shopping" in mandarin is ɡòu wù. ɡòu wù also sounds like swear word in Cantonese which is the mother tongue for Hong Kong people. At the very beginning of this sound clip, the protestors are roaring "ɡòu wù" at Sai Yeung Choi Street. The clip is recorded on an iPhone 4 using the internal mic with the Voice Memo App in m4a format initially. I have removed some of the private conversations among some pedestrians on Protools 11. Hope you enjoy it and feel our pain.

they said "Shopping, Shopping, Shopping". They said so because they are protesting on a street in the most popular part of a tourist trap. They pretended that they were shopping so that the police has no excuses to arrest them.
