The empty magazine of a metal BB handgun being inserted and ejected in regular intervals. While ejected, the loose magazine was brought closer to the microphone in order to capture how it rattled, and the presence it emitted. Varying slightly in speed, intensity, and nature of operation throughout.

Awesome!
It actually sounds more hardcore than most modern pistols LOL.
Kinda unrealistic because of how boxy it sounds, so I think it actually works better as an SMG clip, since it's right in that middle ground between big rattly plastic rifle mag and tiny, almost toy like 9MM polymer pistol mag.
A very clean recording too, professional studio quality, from what I can hear with my bare minimum mixing headphones. :P
I appreciate the multiple takes too, for the variety, it really helps you get more out of the track.
Thanks so much for sharing such a great recording!
