Field Recordings from May 24, 2019 on the campus of Carnegie Mellon University at the intersection of Forbes and Morewood Avenues. These recordings were made to capture the sounds of the intersection before the replacement of the crossing signal system, commonly known as the “beep-boop” by students.
Recorded on a Zoom H6 with Mid-Side Capsule, converted to Stereo
Editing/Processing Applied: High-Pass Filter at 80Hz, 24dB/oct filter
Recorded from the south side of the intersection.
