Nesting Canada Geese. Indian Creek Nature Preserve near Fayetteville Ohio. Recorded with a Zoom h4, AT825 mike, and an Azden FMX-32 preamp/mixer. Closest (loudest) were about 40 yards across water. A variety of sounds besides Honking. Also a (possible) red wing blackbird in the background.

Good one - they are noisy birds but full of character. Here in the UK where they are now abundant they are frequently culled as they can dominate but they are such beautiful birds to see and hear. I remember about 20 flying past me really close on a beach at Arne nature reserve and it was such a wonderful sight.
