December 10th, 2010

This 48KHz/24bit sample pack contains fifteen samples of a standard orchestral tubular bell playing the note A. This was recorded live at 3rd Avenue United Church in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada on the 3rd and 4th of December 2010 by David Puls. In this case we have managed to minimize audience spill. The mic was a Josephson e22 through a Millennia Media HV-3D preamp whilst the ambient partials were captured with two Josephson C617s through an NPNG preamp. Recorded to an Alesis HD24 then downloaded into Pro Tools. Final edit and processing in Cool Edit Pro.

Bloody hell, 15 single recordings of the same bell but there isn't one without that cough

This would be perfect without all the noise and the cough in the back ground.over all great sound.
