Metal ruler being tapped and rubbed on a metal ornamental lamp: metallic impact and scratching. Hard metallic clanging sounds. The sound was recorded with a Zoom H6 recorder, making use of the XY stereo microphone attachment. The sound was post-processed to remove low rumbles and reduce the peaking of the tapping (high pass filter and compression). The sound was recorded in the afternoon in a sound-proofed room in order to lessen the influence of external noise in the recording.
