Controlled Fire Burning Bush: fire crackling and popping, slight wind blowing, birds chirping, people talking faintly in background. Soft crackling sounds, muted background noise. Recorded with a Zoom H6 recorder making use of the XY stereo microphone attachment. The sound received post-production work in Reaper DAW in order to lessen the impact of the wind in the microphone and make the fire burning audible (high pass and compression to decrease wind effect and volume, general item volume raised to hear the fire). Recorded at midday on a Thursday afternoon outside next to a field where a controlled fire was burning from the campus grounds.
