Galta Ji, also known as Monkey Temple, is a super peaceful place in Jaipur, India. Apart from a dam with temple-like front side, few temples and a LOT of monkeys chilling there, you can also find local monks chilling in their little temple on the top of a hill behind the Galta Ji entry gate. It is a bit of a hike to get there, but was worth it. Folks happily played me a tune, when they saw the mics. The only not so convenient thing was the fact that I did not carry any change, so I left the monks with 500 rupees note. Rather expensive, but I say still worth it :).
