As I was leaving to do some field recording at the Newport Wetlands again, I was treated to a large group of birds feeding on the grass outside my house. I had completely forgotten my headphones but had to take a quick recording blind. It didn't turn out too badly.
I am terrible at identifying birds, something i'm going to clue up on but if anyone can suggest what they might be from their tweets, that would be amazing. Im going to look it up and I will let you know if you're right.
Again the traffic is really a nuisance around here and just after they took off a few cars drove past and I lost them.
It was such a nice treat listening back in my office-come-studio though.
I used a Sennheiser MKH416 through my SD552.
