This is a small loop following the culmination of hours of recording and mixing a lot of different tribal drum samples (and kitchen implements) as well as field recordings and reverb impulse responses.

This particular loop began with the humble less than spectacular sound of me hitting a bucket with a wooden spoon.

The idea was to layer, mix, pan and re-pitch samples together that complemented each other to create the sound of a huge tribal drum performance, similar to the style used in many video game and movie scores, most notably that of Hans Zimmer.

I hope you enjoy it!

Please comment or message me with what you do with this loop, I'd love to hear!

For some reason the preview sounds like it has some strange transcoding audio artifacts, however if you download the original wav file you'll find it pristine and clear as I intended.

Hi! I used your clip in a soundscape non commercial mix posted here: http://macjams.com/song/81595 thought you would like to hear it and get a copy of if you like.

You wanted to know where it's used ? : the notorious "SoundEffectsFactory" have reposted it in-isolation on a monetized-YouTube , see ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqrWboLZQYA . The “Creative Commons 0 License” permits that re-use, although you probably did not foresee that your [very good] work would be redistributed like that.
