A field recording of Hippopotamuses. Made in the Shipandeni Hide in Kruger Park, South Africa. It is night, and we're alone in the hide. The hippos come out of the water at night, and make a bunch of noise including much grunting as they head out from the river to feed under the safety of darkness.
