The cuckoo and the garden warbler sing as if in a duet. I made this recording on a summer hot spring day at the edge of a very quiet forest. A light wind blows through the treetops of the mixed forest. A plane flies high in the sky. Sometimes mosquitoes fly nearby.
In fact, this neighborhood is not accidental, as the cuckoo likes to lay its eggs in the nests of the garden warbler, and therefore the garden warbler should be on the lookout.
Recorded May 29 , 2025 on Tascam DR-05x, with post processing.
Location: Russia. Ekaterinburg. Near the marshes, behind the village of Verkhnee-Dubrovo.
