This is not a live recording of steps in a church. This is an example of processing using impulse reverb. I took my steps, recorded outside in my garden, which I recorded myself (holding the microphone in front of me) while walking along a path made of large format concrete tiles. I used a rather clever chain of effects and processing. Although there is nothing particularly complicated, the result probably just came as a surprise to me. Doesn't matter. It is based on this impulse of the room response, recorded by me IR Church . An impulse is like an impulse. Nothing special. But there are still subtleties, without which I would hardly have achieved such truly realistic and deep depth and naturalness in the movement of objects. And we're not talking about equalizer processing. Although this also does the job. If anyone is interested in processing, write in the comments, I will make a detailed description.
